As a department within the Division for Student Development, UTC Campus Recreation provides holistic experiences that educate and empower members of the university community and Chattanooga community. By offering a wide variety of recreational opportunities, UTC Campus Recreation seeks to enhance the experiences of those we serve by promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
Campus Recreation will provide experiences for students, staff, faculty, guests and community members to engage in programming in aquatics, fitness, intramural and club sports, informal recreation, special events, cheer and dance, and outdoor adventures.

Once payment for services or programs are received, partial refunds may be given to cancellations with written notifications prior to 48 hours before the event. There is a $50.00 or 50% charge (50% for services that are equal or lesser value than $100.00) for withdrawing from a trip, course or class. Down payments or deposits for all rentals are non-refundable (example: pool parties). Memberships are non-transferable. Membership cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Any unused portion of memberships are subject to a pro-rated refund, if the member follows the refund request process. Guest passes are non-refundable once purchased on-line or in person. Programs/services may be cancelled due to a minimum number of participants not being met or inclement weather. In this case, a full refund may be issued.
All cancellations for Campus Recreation programs/events will not be refunded if the Campus Recreation Department has not been contacted at least 48 hours prior to the program/event. This policy includes no shows and fees paid in advance for trips, clinics, classes, and facility reservations/rentals.
